A Sad Picture of a Typical “American Christian”

Recieved 1-18 through 1-20-18

The Lord spoke this to me through the Holy Spirit:

“The less a man thinks he knows for certain and the less he thinks he has figured out,  the more that I can reveal to him about Myself and about things to come. It is of pride to think that you know it all, oh haughty man. I have made man a little lower than the angels until the time of the revealing of My children. No man will ever fully know My mind; you will eternally learn of Me and My ways. Those who think that they have arrived or have obtained great wisdom and knowledge, shall be shown just how little they actually do know. Men shall be humbled out of My mercy, though most will not understand that it is out of My great mercy. All men shall soon see that I AM who I say I AM. I AM the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world, but I return as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, who shall exact His fierce judgement and wrath upon the proud sinners, though it is My will that all men would be saved by My blood.

The truth is, most men have never taken the time to ever seek Me and know Me and they know not My ways at all. Millions of men who call themselves by My name never think of Me throughout their week, but make sure they are seen of men in a religious mausoleum that they call a “church” every Saturday or Sunday. The day matters not; what matters is they  have never surrendered their heart and never taken time to know Me, though I have been within reach of them their entire lives. They have spoken My name in pre-written prayers and in hymns and songs that meant nothing to them. They shall be judged the harshest.”

Then the Lord showed me a skinny, bitter, bruised, battered, bloody, broken and dirty Man who was laying face down. (The mental picture that I had was much more than the picture below but the expression on his face fits.)

The Lord let me know that this man had called himself a “Christian” and he went to a church that taught him wrongly, but he never asked the Lord himself if these things were right; in fact, he never even prayed. He learned about giving to get physical, earthly prosperity, repeating the “sinner’s prayer,” “Once saved always saved,” and the “Pre-Tribulation Rapture.”  He also believed that he and pretty much  everyone he knew were “Christians” because of the country they lived in, America. He did not believe that there was anything wrong with America; in fact, he believed that God was going to make America great again because of the president that they “picked.” The Lord had allowed this man to experience severe pain, fear, distress, hunger, and lack of everything that he was used to in his modern lifestyle, yet he was not humbled in his heart. He had hardened his heart and stiffened his neck and he even blamed God for what had happened to him.

Then I saw the Lord Jesus standing behind him calling out to him, yet this man did not seem to hear Him. I saw Jesus stand right in front of him, yet the man did not even acknowledge Him. This man had been deafened and blinded by the things of this world and false teaching in his church. He could not be be awakened because of the great deception he had allowed in his own life. I saw tears coming out of Jesus’ eyes. He had done all that He could for this man.

Jesus spoke once again:

“My call goes out to to everyone who reads this message. Do not be deceived; time is shorter than most men think. Humble yourselves in surrender before Me and repent of your sin and I will forgive you and give you new life that will never end. This must be done with your whole heart, I know when a man means what he says. I urge you to ready yourselves now! No man knows when the kick-off event shall take place and no man knows the day or the hour of My return.

Put the things of this world behind you and receive My Spirit!

I Love You!”

  1. Jeff – I keep trying to post an update (under my other email) and it refuses to post. I have tried about 6 or 7 times now and it won’t post as a new msg nor under the current thread. Is the site having problems?

  2. I have been preaching one simple word lately because of the simple- minded people out there. Everyone serves either God or Satan *** Knowingly or Unknowingly … No one dares to debate this , just taking the scales off their eye’s. Pastor Lee

  3. About the false prophet:
I do not think the papacy is negative: John Paul II and Benedict XVI were great popes.
I think that Jesus Christ in this time is talking to all Christianity (to Orthodoxy, for example, He speaks through Vassula Ryden).
Then the message Jesus Christ has released to Jeff “The Supernatural will Become Normal” on Day 9-1-15, in which He criticizes the one who declares himself “His Vicar”, I limit it to the present pontificate.

    1. Brother the Catholic church is the church of satan. Take it from an ex-catholic, it goes against the bible in sooo many ways its mind blowing. “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” I was guilty of this and its why I “grew up” Catholic but never really followed it because I knew something was not right. Look at the vatican from a 45 degree angle and you are going to see that it is a giant serpent. Look at the popes hall, its a giant face of a snake. I can send you some picture that are going to blow your mind if you would like. Pope Francis is the false prophet the bible speaks of just look at all the ideologies that he pushes its insane.

      1. Amen !!!!! My prayer is that many will leave it along with its false doctrines & idols & give their hearts to the the one true living God.

  4. Brother Jeff,

False doctrines like “Once saved always saved” and the “Pre-Trib Rapture” have made most Christians complacent and, therefore (in their mind)they don’t need to listen to the prophets and watchmen. They have been taught that they are safe and secure and that there is no need for either physical or spiritual preparedness. The Church is failing to address end-times, repentance, or coming judgement; so, since these issues are not being discussed from the pulpit they are largely being ignored. The result is a lukewarm (ill-prepared) church. Unfortunately, most missed the fact that the door closes on 5 of the 10 bridesmaids. For those that are asleep, I pray for eyes that see and ears that hear while there is still time.

    1. Yes thank you for pointing that out brother Jeff. Most of the churches out there say that we are all the wise Brides In the foolish Brides are the totally unchurched unbelievers but that is not the truth. They are all virgins! Fact is that half were not ready! Jesus is warning constantly now to get ready and some are but sadly not most.

  5. Hi, Jeff!
I was recently led to your website via z3 and I want to let you know what a blessing you have been to me in this short time.
I have been struggling lately with wanting to hear God so bad and having the feeling that maybe I’m just not meant to, but your last 4 posts (and subsequently your post from a year ago, “You Need to Hear God’s Voice for Yourself” have been so relevant to me and my struggles and I believe that they’re an answer from Him. I see that others also have the same struggles and the encouragement and support from others is so remarkable! I can’t wait to watch some of the videos provided about speaking in tongues and reading the books and articles suggested.
I’m very thankful for your posts and suggestions and the words you receive from the Lord.
    Thank you for sharing!
    Gods blessings to you!
    Dana B.

    1. Dana, thank you for sharing that! I felt the love in your words and I can picture the Father smiling in approval on His children that desire to seek Him and hear His voice with all of their hearts.
You will hear Him, just do not give up! I think you may already but you may not recognize His voice yet, so my prayer for you is for you to be able to differentiate His thoughts from your own.
      Blessings love and peace!

      1. Thank you so much, Jeff! My heart is so full of joy! Thank you for your words and encouragement. Peace to you 🙂

    2. Dana, I felt that I should share a confirmation with you concerning your struggles with hearing God’s voice as I have felt the same way. And recently, there seems to have been an attack which the enemy has brought against us in the form of distractions and discouragement, so if you have been feeling that void or just uncertainty, know that you are on the right track and be encouraged that you have hit the nerve center for satan’s nefarious-minded demons. That is a good sign as they see you beginning to shake off their cloak of darkness because they see the light is on its way.
Press in even harder – the breakthrough is upon us!!
I read Lana vawser’s blog today and between Jeff, Lana and Erin of sparrowcloud9, His Spirit has been guiding and leading me and the prophets all seem to be confirming with one another the complementary message of the Spirit as they are dovetailing together.
      Blessings, shalom and
WE WIN! oops, I mean WE WON

      1. Thank you Thomas!
        Much needed encouragement
The war has been Won, BUT there a still battles we have to fight and win!

      1. Sujit,

Thanks for that link – it was very enlightening and I’m going to give it a serious try. So very encouraging and showed the topic to me in a new light.

Will be working on changing my striving to abiding too 🙂

This website and those participating here have been such a blessing to me. Thank you to everyone!

      2. Thank you, Sujit! I think it was actually from one of your posts on z3 that led me here to Jeff! Thank you for your encouragement and resources…both here and on z3!
        Dana B.

    3. Hi Dana! I came here from Z3 as well, and I have felt the Holy Spirit in many of the articles. I, too, have struggled with hearing God’s voice, but I tell you, it is not impossible! I don’t hear it as much and as well as other, more experienced brothers and sisters, but I have heard Him speak clearly in my mind before. How long have you been born again?

      1. Hi, Abby!
Well, I’m a “cradle Christian” and I don’t know if I had one defining moment that made me born again, but I am definitely born again. My whole life long I’ve always had a connection to God. And, I think that’s why I’m struggling with not audibly hearing His voice, etc. I can feel the Holy Spirit (that was something I just learned/realized in the last few years), but reading posts about how people can actually hear Him gave me the longing to want to. I’m praying and doing the wonderful suggestions from all the experienced brothers and sisters and I feel like it will just be a matter of time, God willing. 🙂
Thank you for your encouragement and support, Abby!

    4. @Dana, I too struggled to hear God’s voice. It was rare.

At some point, we will all make a final decision regarding our own christianity. I did a few years ago.
I was done with my seeker friendly church which by the way went from pentecostal to seeker friendly AND I backslid with many others in our church. I was once saved always saved, using grace as a washrag. (I felt so much shame for my terrible witness during that time once I realized what I had done). I know now, if it was not for God’s GREAT mercy, I would either have gone straight to hell from my church pew or had to go through God’s wrath and hopefully found salvation.

My journey, I put him first, fasted, prayed in the spirit as well as my own needs for family/friends etc., I read and studied his word, listened to good solid teaching as I went about my day and eventually found this site, Tribulation now radio show on blog talk. It is amazing how the holy spirit has guided me to the right teachers. Give the lord your first fruits of time. Seek him early and you shall find him. Give as much time as you can. Get up an hour earlier to dedicate prayer and bible study time etc.

When I did this, the holy spirit shot me to the next level thanks to tribulation now radio and my hunger for the truth. (Sidenote on this, if something goes contrary to your teaching, hang in there and study it before you shut off this show!!!). I must plug it as the teaching is awesome…Johnny has also grown/evolved since he started his show a few years back. Does great word studies and thorough analysis when he teaches.

Dana, the holy spirit is showing you and anyone else who will listen. I was and still am so hungry for Jesus that my heavenly father has made himself very present in my life. I am learning to hear his voice more and more. It has been beautiful. I look forward to every day as to what he will teach me through others and carrying out his will for the day.

Keep seeking, keep pressing in, talk to him every chance you get. Learn spiritual warfare prayer to protect yourself and the ones you love. The holy spirit WILL guide you to the right people to learn from. (AND you will probably drop some as well) Most of all, pray for the spirit of discernment so you are not misled by some very public false prophets. Our main stream alternative shows have fallen into deception by some of them. Discern, descern, descern!!! So very important!

Never give up! Psalms 91 has always been very comforting. God bless you Dana in your journey to walk with Jesus.

      1. One other thing, the most important, is repentance. I did not understand the process or what it meant. My prayer was God please forgive me and I would do the same thing the next day. Even though I knew it was wrong!

Repentance is a process, not a moment as mainstream church teaches. We must actively engage in even what seems to be the smallest decisions and ask ourselves, Am I going to have to ask forgiveness or is this sin? Television? Events? The way I talk? Am I gossiping? Am I angry? Do I have habits which are sinful and justify them as God will forgive me?

These are the things that I have dealt with to get my heart right before God. Sin is not allowed in heaven. So, how can we expect to have a relationship with our heavenly father if our daily lives grieve the holy spirit?

What I do, and by no means do I have all the answers, I ask myself if I will need to repent for this later if I partake?

Maybe I am making this more complex than I should. We must get the sin out of our lives as best we can and ask God to help us overcome our bad habits and quicken our hearts to anything that is not pleasing to him.

It took me a lot of effort, study and prayer to repent for the “christian” life I had led off and on when I accepted Jesus as my lord and saviour in 1987..

Thank God for his grace and mercy to pull me out of my “God and I are good”, MESS a few years back. I shudder at the thought of my prior christian life and I now strive to live a holy life before the father.

The more sin in our lives, the greater difficulty we will have hearing him. If we continue to live in willful, habitual sin, he will turn us over to ourselves and cut us loose at some point. We should not play around with our salvation.

        God bless

        1. Hi, Roxanne!
Thank you so much for sharing your journey with me.
Please keep me in your prayers. I believe the Lord showed me through a couple dreams the other night two things in my life that might be hindering a deeper relationship with Him. I believe that it’s only by His strength, grace and mercy that I will be able to rid them from my life, but I would really appreciate prayers 🙂
Thank you for your direction to Tribulation Now Radio. I will definitely check it out!
God’s Blessings and Peace to you, Roxanne!
          Your sister in Christ,
          Dana B.

  6. Thank you for sharing His Word with us.

Pride is such a big issue. May we all seek to be humble and loving to all.

Its also so sad that only part of the Gospel is preached in so many Churches. “Believe in Jesus and your sins will be forgiven”, but that’s only the easy part. Turning from sin and giving up all those worldly things we used to love in obedience to Him, truly loving God and Jesus with all our hearts. Bearing fruit of the Spirit, striving for holiness, and being a charitable and forgiving people.

Its all about the narrow and difficult path! Saying a prayer and continuing to live in sin is easy. The wide road to destruction.

We need to pray in earnest for our Church leaders, that they will have the conviction, boldness and courage to “lay it on the line” for the congregations. By avoiding the obvious instruction in the Word of God, they are putting their congregations in danger of doom! I pray that there will be a last chance for all these people whom have trusted their pastor instead of reading the Word.

    1. Evan, I pray that many get another chance too but it will only be the ones who haven’t hardened their hearts and blamed God for their plight in the Great Tribulation. Reading the book of the Revelation though the phrase “did not repent” is repeated 5 times… I know there will be a few but not most.
I pray we can awaken some of these even now!

    2. Dear Evan,

I believe it is possible for every single believer to reach such a state in the Holy Spirit where there is no striving, only abiding. The only work that the branch does to bear good abundant fruit is to abide in the true vine. The only “striving” required then, my brother, is “abiding in the true vine,” and when we start abiding in the true vine, we will no longer call our striving, “striving”; it’ll no longer be us living but Christ living in us.

      Blessings in Christ.

    3. I agree whole-heartedly! I just recently left my church (Dec) after sending my pastors an email explaining why I would not be returning. They did only teach part of the truth not the full truth, but also taught pre-trib, OSAS and they were not warning the church of what is coming their way. He also twisted scripture to suit his beliefs. To me it seemed like there was no Holy Spirit movement through there. The pastor also proudly states on his website that he is “set for life”…that’s his motto and to me was a blatant display of pride and ignorance as no one is set for life, and no one knows until we stand before our Father, God Almighty. This whole situation has caused much grief as my husband is buddies with him and still goes to this church (I was the one who went there first and brought my family). I’m looked down on, I’m sure, as being lost and lacking faith as they had already made previous comments when I questioned what I saw in the Bible vs what they taught. But all I know is ever since I began this walk (early 2015) I was led to strong beliefs and that these areas of contention were without doubt in my mind. I stayed on at this church for the sake of unity but I just could no longer do it and had to come out of her! Since leaving, have faced so much warfare at home but continue to battle through it, but the enemy keeps trying to pull me away and distract us. As a matter of fact, I need to ask for prayers if at all possible. We have just been hit with something so out of the blue, besides praying I don’t even know where to begin. At 10:33 tonight we received a knock on the door and it was a process server…serving my husband papers for a civil suit for an accident he had in his company truck almost 2 yrs ago…suing between $100-200K! We’ve never been sued in our lives and are so out of depth on this. There is no way, at all, to pay something like this. We don’t understand why he is being personally sued vs the company that holds the truck and insurance. It’s just so crazy. He doesn’t even work for that company anymore and we have no access to the documentation that they are asking for because the company has it. sigh. Prayer of course was first and tomorrow we begin to wade through this…but I know it is the enemy working against us. I’m so lost, but I know Jesus will help us through…just very daunting. Anyway sorry for all this venting, but more just asking for prayers to get us through this. I thank you all, and Jeff, I thank you for this site and your commitment to the body and Kingdom of God. Evan…also thank you…you posted a link the other day on deliverance and it has been very useful for me. Much love and God Bless you all abundantly.

      1. Shannon, looks like you riled up that old devil! Of course I will pray for you and I’m going to pray Divine favor and that the lying mouths of the accuser be shut! I believe that you will be victorious in the name of Jesus Christ Yeshua HaMashiach!

        1. Yep, that’s what I was thinking too! I knew something would come but wasn’t expecting anything like this. Thank you for your prayers, they are much needed. May Abba Father keep you safe all your days. God Bless.

        2. WOW! Praise Jesus in all His Glory! Have to give you an update. So after we got that Monday night I had been praying for this situation. My discernment had been telling me that this was done out of greed (him filing against my husband), but I also realized that my thinking and feeling on the situation was not very loving. So I changed my prayers. I prayed for the gentleman in question that if he was truly hurt in this that he does receive full restoration from what was taken from him and that all parties find an amicable resolution, and that if this is done out of greed that it is shut down. Well my husband contacted his prior company and at first they were like, “well if he’s suing you, what does that have to do with us?” So my husband asked them to check with the insurance co to see how it had been handled, if the gentleman had received settlement and also that we would need information to defend ourselves etc. News from the ins company came back today…they haven’t even settled with him yet! He filed the claim against my husband oct 31, 2017 and they have been looking for him to serve him since then. So the ins company is assuming the suit against my husband and it’s pretty much showing though, that the gentleman is just going after money if he is suing us before even settling with the ins company. Praise the Lord though, that they appear to be handling it for us! We are continuing in prayer for this to be resolved and are very thankful that this looks like it will be going against the claim on the insurance instead of against us. Even before reading your first response I had a feeling in my spirit that “this would be handled”. God is so Mighty and Awesome and the enemy needs to go kick rocks! Thank you again for praying for us. Much love and God Bless.

          1. Thank You Shannon for sharing your situation with us Praise the Lord! I know the Father has everything under control and I leave you with this
Romans 8:28″And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

      2. I’m very happy Shannon that you found the deliverance information helpful as I have. I wish more of this would be instructed in the churches – we would be a lot more aware of satan and his evil influences in our lives and the people around us. …and better prepared to combat it! I will add you to my prayers as well. God bless and anoint you abundantly.

  7. Thank you for sharing this timely word. I pray the Lord helps us all to surrender more and more each day. I did as requested because I value your thoughts…with love in Him, robin b

    1. Robin, you did the right thing. It is not easy! I am so thankful for your teachable spirit and that you hear the Holy Spirit in humbleness and obedience.
Blessings, Love and Peace my precious sister!

  8. Beautiful and powerful word! God bless you, brother, for your obedience. This is *very* confirming as I’ve been so heavily moved to continue humbling myself throughout the day and was just earlier today hearing in my spirit “if a man thinks he knows anything he knows nothing.” Praise God!

    1. Thank you Jen, We must always remember that His thoughts are higher than our thoughts as well.
If we humble ourselves before Him He will lift us up in due time!
      God Bless you!

  9. Jesus bless you my brother. I pray my family and I will be counted worthy. I hope i am pleasing the Lord God with all my heart and spirit daily. Please pray for the restoration in my marriage and for help for my father Eduardo Sr who we are struggling with so much brother Jeff. Jesus bless you bro. Thanks for the word

    1. Eduardo, I will pray for you and yourwife and father right now!
Blessings, Love, Peace, Restoration and Salvation in the mighty name of Jesus!

    1. Yes, He will help us.
He is the only way we will get through what is coming.
This Message mentioned America but it can be applied all over the world as awell!
      Blessings Love and Peace brother!
